Moving into The Knowledge Corridor

In spatial terms, the Knowledge Corridor stretches from the existing North West Regional College and University of Ulster Magee campuses and adjacent riverside sites along the Northland Road to the Seagate complex and the Ulster Science and Technology Park. These are key knowledge-focused development sites and the new St. Mary’s College will be an integral part of this development.

Marie Lindsay Principal of St Mary’s College said,
‘Seeing the ambitious and exciting plans for our new school reminds us all that we are moving closer to what I can only describe as a ‘dream learning environment’ with the potential to transform education and radically improve educational facilities for all our school community. I hoped that the new building would be fully inclusive, open to wider use binding us even closer to the local community and I am delighted with the design. This is a building that the entire community will love to learn in.’
